Christi Kythreotou is a Cyprus lawyer who specialises in the fields of corporate law, financial services and asset management, taxation and commercial law, and regularly provides assistance on local and cross-border aspects in these areas to national and international clients.
She has extensive experience on all aspects of Cyprus corporate and commercial law and has developed significant expertise in advising on M&A transactions and joint ventures, from structuring to implementation.
She also provides assistance on day-to-day corporate and business issues often involving taxation law issues. She advises investment firms and asset management companies on legal issues relevant to their activities and their products, including investment fund formation and legal advice on issues that arise during their lifecycle
She holds an undergraduate degree in law and a postgraduate (LL.M in commercial law) both from the University of Bristol. She also holds a European Master degree in Law & Economics from the University of Bologna and the University of Hamburg.
She is holder of the Certificate in Principles of International Taxation granted by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (United Kingdom).
