Mr. Hirani is one of India's leading corporate lawyers having more than 25 years of experience. Currently, he is the Managing Partner at Majmudar & Partners, a leading Indian law firm, and also heads its transactions practice. Mr. Hirani combines superlative Indian law acumen with an international skill set and has been ranked as one of the most in-demand lawyers in India by Chambers Asia.

Mr. Hirani is qualified to practise law in India, California, and England & Wales, although he is currently on inactive status in the latter two jurisdictions. Mr. Hirani graduated with a BA in Psychology from St. Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai in 1989, and obtained his LLB (Hons.) from the Government Law College, University of Mumbai in 1992, having specialized in Private International Law. He has work experience in California and London.

Mr. Hirani’s particular experience includes structuring investments of foreign companies and financial institutions into India, tax and regulatory advice, M&A, joint ventures, and private equity. He represents the who's who of banks, multinationals and funds.

Mr. Hirani has authored several articles and publications on topics, including structuring investments into India, outsourcing to India, joint ventures in India and on tax issues. He is a member, among others, of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, AIJA, and the International Bar Association.
