Alexey Ivanov is a managing partner of Konnov & Sozanovsky.
Alexey Ivanov has been practicing law for over 18 years.
Before becoming Konnov & Sozanovsky managing partner, for 11 years Alexey acted as a partner of the Ukrainian law firm, which he founded together with his colleagues. His wide-ranging experience covers corporate law, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, banking and foreign exchange regulations, foreign investments, competition and labor law.
Being a managing partner of Konnov & Sozanovsky, Mr. Ivanov diversified company’s services by developing new legal practices like agrarian law, banking and financial law, corporate structuring and M&A. He also initiated new directions in client relations marketing having launched educational events for client companies.
According to “Legal Awards 2012”, organized by “Yuridicheskaya practika” newspaper, Alexey Ivanov is acknowledged as “Partner of the year of the law firm”.
Besides law practice, Mr. Ivanov leads an active public work. In summer 2013, he was elected a member of the Ethic commission of the Ukrainian Bar Association. Also, Alexey was one of the initiators to create the Club of mediation practices by the Ukrainian Mediation Center. Alexey is a professional mediator; he received his Certificate in October 2012 in the Ukrainian Mediation Center (Kiev-Mohyla Business School).
