The interdisciplinary aspect is the main driver of my interest in transfer pricing. The need for the use of knowledge of economics, law and accounting makes working in this field very challenging, interesting and a lifelong learning experience.
I advise on transfer pricing with great motivation. I would go the extra mile and even beyond when my advice is critical for the client.
I am currently Counsel at Houthoff, an independent top-tier Netherlands-based law firm offering exceptional advice to an extensive national and international client base. Prior to Houthoff, I worked as an in-house transfer pricing specialist at VEON and Liberty Global (both one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world). I gained in-depth transfer pricing knowledge and experience in the technology and telecommunications industry over 5 years. I also worked as an advisor at Big Four (Deloitte and KPMG) dealing with a wide variety of transfer pricing projects, including business restructurings, intangibles, global cost allocation models for shared services, financial transactions, Advance Pricing Agreements, tax audits and dispute resolution for large multinationals as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in various industries.
I am a guest lecturer at the University of Amsterdam, where I teach Transfer Pricing at the Advanced LLM programme in International Taxation. I also regularly give Transfer Pricing Masterclasses at IBFD.
