Since 2012, Stasys is involved in the Infrastructure & Regulatory practice group specializing in energy law matters and advice on competition law, infrastructure & matters of regulatory, public procurement and administrative law. The services include dispute settlement in ADR and arbitration (especially investment arbitration and arbitration related to fields of energy and telecommunications).
Stasys has been advising foreign and Lithuanian companies on issues of legal regulation and project development in energy sector, he has a significant experience related to project development and management in the field of renewable energy, electricity production, electric power production and trade, representation in courts and arbitrations.
Stasys has consulted the clients on implementation of national strategic projects that ensure or significantly contribute to Lithuania’s energy independence (e.g., development of LNG Terminal in Klaipėda (Lithuania)), the project for the Nuclear Power Plant in Visaginas (Lithuania), implementation of EU’s Third Energy Package in Lithuania’s electricity and natural gas sector). The projects required highly complex solutions in dealing with a range of legal issues, such as competition, administration, EU and international legal regulation.
He has a bachelor degree in law (Lithuania) and master degree in international and EU business law (France). Moreover, Stasys published various scientific articles (related to arbitration and Lithuanian constitutional law) which were recognised by some institutions as the best in that particular field.
