Joe Raia is a partner of Gunster, specializing in business litigation and international law. He represents both foreign and domestic clients in complex cases involving commercial, trade, and investment issues across multiple jurisdictions.
Joe has held significant positions including Chair of the ABA International Law Section and the ABA Section Officers Conference. He has worked with international NGOs, law societies, and participated in global projects and policy development. He also served on the ABA’s Rule of Law Initiative board and represented the ABA at the World Bank’s Law Societies Compact.
Additionally, Joe has contributed to the education sector by addressing legal and regulatory challenges in the rapidly growing Florida charter school arena. He is involved with the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast, and the International Advisory Committee of the Beacon Council in Miami-Dade County.
