Giovanna Bernal, holds a degree in Law and Political Sciences, obtained in 2004 at the Universidad Santa María La Antigua in Panama. She has successfully completed several Master's degrees, including Business Administration (Taiwan M.B.A), Commercial Law, Higher Education and Taxation and Fiscal Management. Norman W. Bernstein has advised on a wide range of regulatory matters under U.S. environmental laws and argued numerous environmental cases in federal appellate and district courts. He has assisted venture capital firms in establishing legal structures to minimize the risks of financing environmentally sensitive deals, advised on environmental disclosure issues and acquisition structuring, extracted a large pigment manufacturing plant from enforcement proceedings, made presentations on behalf of a client before OSHA and the National Toxicology Program regarding the alleged risks posed by silica and on the alleged carcinogenicity of rock wool and slag wool. He has filed comments with EPA on a wide range of rule makings and has negotiated successful settlements in Clean Air Act enforcement cases. He is also a Trustee at two Superfund sites; one is on EPA's National Priority List. Mr. Bernstein was one of the lead speakers at the 4th Annual Carbon Trading Summit in New York in January 2010.

Jarrod Bayliss-McCulloch is a senior associate in the Information Technology & Commercial department at the London office of Baker McKenzie and advises on major technology-driven transactions and regulatory issues spanning telecommunications, intellectual property, data privacy and consumer law with a particular focus on digital media and new product development. Jarrod joined the Firm in 2009 and his prior experience includes working in strategy consulting and development economics. Jarrod's practice currently focuses on supporting vendors and purchasers in large energy and resources transactions such as the acquisitions of oil and gas pipelines in Australia. He has also recently advised leading international technology, communications and media companies on commercial contracting and tender issues and has litigation experience in multiple jurisdictions, including in Australia and Malaysia.

NanaAma Botchway is the founder of n. dowuona & company. Her areas of focus are corporate and commercial, property and construction, and energy and infrastructure. NanaAma has advised on numerous significant investments in Ghana and in other parts of Africa. She advised Kingdom Hotel Investments on their acquisition and development of the USD 100 million multipurpose property development in Ghana from the inception of the project. She is currently advising the Volta Lake Transport Company on its USD 300 million Eastern Corridor Multi-Modal Transport Project. She has advised local and regional developers of other significant real estate projects in Ghana including the first certified green office building in Ghana. She also has experience in advising on a variety of aspects of construction projects including planning, permitting and project finance. She advised Kingdom Zephyr, a premier pan-African private equity fund manager, as well as the USD 490 million Pan-African Investment Partners II and the USD 120 million Pan-African Investment Partners I funds managed by Kingdom Zephyr, for many years and in various capacities, on numerous operational, fund management, and transactional matters. She recently advised Databank Agrifund Manager on the establishment of its AAF SME Fund. Before returning to Ghana, NanaAma was an associate in the New York office of the premier international law firm, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where she worked in the mergers and acquisitions and corporate tax departments. NanaAma also worked as an associate for the leading New York law firm of Kronish Lieb Weiner & Hellman where she advised businesses in a wide variety of industries from securities firms to e-businesses and luxury apparel retail companies on general corporate matters. NanaAma practiced as an audit accountant in the New York Office of Deloitte & Touche. As an audit accountant, she acquired excellent insight into financial statement preparation and analysis and financial reporting. She also gained invaluable knowledge about the financial fundamentals of businesses in a wide variety of industries such as publishing, international banking and apparel manufacture and retail. NanaAma is a graduate of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School Undergraduate Program, New York University’s Stern School of Business, where she received an MBA in Finance and Accounting and Columbia University School of Law, where she received a JD and was named a James Kent Scholar, the highest honor awarded in recognition of excellent academic performance. NanaAma is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the International Bar Association and the Ghana Bar Association.
