A forensic accountant by training, Laura’s background is in fraud investigation. She developed her China expertise within PwC China's Forensic Services, having seen first-hand the unique risks that foreign companies face in the Chinese market. In response she co-founded Lohtsman to assist companies in avoiding future roadbumps with Chinese business partners and ultimately achieve success in China. Laura has spoken on the subject of reputational due diligence and risk management in China at academic institutions and commercial organizations in Israel and China. Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, Laura has lived in France, Israel and China since 2001. She has a masters degree in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
