Olivier has been practising in the areas of Intellectual property law, information technology and media & entertainment law since 2001, both advising and representing clients before the courts. Among others, he regularly assists clients in the fields of the music industry, motion pictures and advertising, as well as the IT sector and has extensive experience in litigating copyrights, trademarks, patent law and unfair competition. He recently represented a major collecting society in court proceedings involving competition law issues, and a major company in the field of medical appliances regarding unfair competition claims. He has also recently assisted online travel agencies regarding regulatory issues for their e-commerce platform, motion picture producers in relation with co-production agreements and clients for technology transfer contracts and license agreements. Olivier is a regular speaker at international conferences and has published articles in such legal periodicals as Revue Lamy du Droit de l’Immatériel (RLDI), Auteurs & Media, and Computer Law Review International. He obtained a law degree from the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix at Namur and the Université Catholique de Louvain. William Spiteri Bailey is a partner in RSM Malta in business advisory and risk management services. William has extensive experience in servicing local and international clients across a wide range of industry sectors. William has an all-round grasp and knowledge of commercial affairs in Malta and is routinely involved in raising finance for clients, advising on corporate structures, corporate finance and on the preparation of business plans and business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, investment appraisals and feasibility studies. He is also the partner responsible for risk management services where he manages assignments relating to risk management and internal audit. William is a Certified Public Accountant and a registered auditor. He is a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. William is currently a Council member and Vice-President of the Malta Institute of Accountants. William is a member of the FEE SMP Forum, one of FEE’s (Fédération des Experts-Comptables Européens – Federation of European Accountants) Committees. Brazilian, Law degree from the São Paulo University, 1972, with over 37 years of experience in legal practice. Founded his own law firm in 1992. Member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), Chapters São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasília (Distrito Federal); São Paulo Lawyers Association (AASP), and the Regional Administration Council (CRA) – São Paulo. As a result of his experience and background, he has the ability to understand the client´s problems within the context of their respective culture, objectivity, global strategic vision, fast thinking, capability to economically and contextually assess a given situation so as to enable clients to visualize implications and impacts of their decisions. • He started his career as a lawyer in 1973 working for one of the most prestigious law firms in the country (Pinheiro Neto – Advogados) for 14 years, becoming a partner in 1985. He is also the Co-Chair of the International Financial Products and Services Committee of that same Section for 2013-2014, and in previous periods (2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2012-2013), and acted as Immediate Past Co-Chair (2010-2011) and Senior Advisor (2011-2012) of the Committee, having been awarded with the Outstanding Policy Award or the R&R on Educating Judges policy in the term of 2009-2010. He is the Immediate Past Co-Chair (2012-2013) of the International Securities and Capital Markets Committee of the Section and acted as Co-Chair of the Committee (2010-2011 and 2011-2012). • Member of the International Bar Association (IBA), based in London, England.

Rostislav’s professional experience includes leading complex due diligence projects, transactions structuring and consulting in the fields of Russian and international taxation Prior to joining our team Rostislav worked in the Finance department of one of the largest Russian diversified holdings where he was responsible for tax risk management, tax planning and tax methodology development for both Russian and foreign legal entities of the holding.
