Kerem Turunç is a partner based in the Istanbul office of the law firm TURUNÇ, a full-service Turkish law firm with offices in Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara. Mr. Turunç specializes financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Mr. Turunç has extensive experience representing issuers and underwriters in international and domestic finance transactions and securities offerings. Mr. Turunç also has substantial experience in inbound, outbound and domestic private and public M&A deals, representing corporate and private equity buyers and sellers alike, including in corporate reorganizations, leveraged buy-outs and spin-offs. In addition advising them on transactions, Mr. Turunç works closely with private equity and venture capital funds on fund formation and structuring issues. Mr. Tsai, a patent attorney at Deep & Far Attorneys-at-Law, graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering of National Taiwan University (NTUEE) and immediately attended the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering (GICE) of NTU since his graduation from NTUEE, and has received his Master’s degree after two-year’s research. During his research life in GICE, he also started to get involved in the knowledge and skills of patent-related matters and passed the Bar examination for Patent Attorneys. Mr. Tsai also attended and gained an IP Master degree from the Law School of University of New Hampshire, also known as the Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property. Right after the graduation, he had an opportunity to work for InterDigital, Inc. in Delaware for a short period, and then passed the U.S. Patent Registration Examination. He also passed the China Patent Agent Examination. Currently, Mr. Tsai is concurrently majoring a law master in National Chiao Tong University.
