Fernando Antas da Cunha (born 1974), Managing Partner at Antas da Cunha Ecija & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. Law degree, Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Moderna de Lisboa (1999). Registered with the Bar Association since 2001. Fernando was a University lecturer between 1999 and 2008 – Commercial and Corporate Law, Civil Procedural Law, and Civil Enforcement Procedure. Fernando was a member of Universidade Moderna’s legal department for the better part of that period, having been active in several fields of law. Fernando completed his internship with José Nóvoa Cortez, after which he went on to become a sole practitioner and start a law office with other colleagues. In 2003, Fernando set up an association that would in time be the seed from which ACFA – Antas da Cunha, Ferreira & Associados sprang, the law firm he founded in 2006. Although ACFA was a medium-sized law firm, it would go on to be distinguished by several international directories in such diverse fields of law as Corporate, Real Estate and Labour. In 2014, he joined Miranda, Correia e Amendoeira, Sociedade de Advogados R.L. as Of Counsel, where he developed the firm’s Portuguese practice in several fields of the law. Marco Antonini deals with corporate affairs, national and international tax systems with a specialisation in indirect taxes, in particular in the field of VAT and tax litigation. He has acted at length for the Court of Milan as a court appointed expert, administrator and liquidator. For the same court he also undertakes appointments as ex-parte expert witness. He acts as tax representative in Italy for foreign subjects. For the firm’s client companies, he carries out due diligence procedures for the appraisal and acquisition of companies. He has published numerous articles in specialist journals, and frequently takes part in conferences on economic and legal matters.
